🛠 Troubleshooting Offline Nodes on BlockFabric
Occasionally, a node hosted through BlockFabric may show as Offline in your Connect or brand dashboard—even if it’s listed as “Active” in BlockFabric. This is typically easy to resolve by restarting the affected instance.
⚠️ On rare occasions, you may need to destroy and re-create the instance if restarting does not resolve the issue.
🔁 Restarting an Instance

Log in to your BlockFabric account

Find your hosted nodes
All nodes you’re hosting will be listed in your account dashboard. -
Locate the Offline Node
Identify the node that appears offline in your Connect or brand account (e.g., WIN, Galvan, Element).Note: It may still be listed as “Active” within BlockFabric even if it shows as “Offline” elsewhere.

Restart the Instance

Click the three dots (⋮) next to the affected node

Select Restart

🔄 Multiple Offline Nodes?
If multiple nodes of the same brand are showing as offline in your Connect or brand dashboard, you may need to repeat the restart steps for each node individually in BlockFabric to bring them all back online.
Occasionally, a Node hosted on BlockFabric may appear as offline in your Connect/brand account. In this case, you can often solve the issue by simply restarting the affected hosting instance. On rare occasions, you may need to destroy and re-create the affected instance.
Tap the three dots on the far right of the instance.
Step 1:
A small Actions box will pop up. Click the Restart Hosting option.
Step 2:
You’ll be prompted to enter the brand credentials for that node — your login email and password for the associated brand account.
Example:
If you are restarting a WIN Node instance, enter the email and password you use to sign in at web.connectunited.com.
Once your credentials are entered, click the Submit button.
Step 3:
Great! Your node is now back online.
Please note: It can take up to one hour for nodes to show as online in your Connect account after creating or restarting an instance.

🗑️ Destroying an Instance
If you no longer wish to host a node with BlockFabric, or if restarting the instance does not bring your node back online, you may need to destroy the affected instance and create a new one.
How to Destroy an Instance:

Click the three dots (⋮) to the right of the affected node.

Select the Destroy Node option from the menu.

A warning message will appear. Click Destroy Node to confirm and proceed.

Step 1:
You will see a 'Destroy' confirmation message, along with a notice about any applicable refund.
Step 2:
Next, scroll to the top of your BlockFabric account and click Add Instances to add a node back to your BlockFabric account.
Congratulations! You have successfully destroyed an instance in BlockFabric.

Restarting an Instance
Log into your BlockFabric account at https://app.blockfabric.host/login.
Each node you are hosting on Block Fabric will be displayed.
Locate the offline node in the Connect or brand account. Note that it may still be listed as "Active" in BlockFabric. The below email uses a Win Smart Node, but note that the process is the same for each brand.
Please note that if you have multiple nodes of one brand reflected as offline in your Connect or brand account, you may need to complete the following steps for all nodes of that brand in order to see them all online.
Tap the three dots on the far right of the instance.
A small Actions box will pop up. Click the "Restart Hosting" option.
You'll be prompted to enter the brand credentials for that node (your login email and password for the associated brand account). For example, if you are restarting a Win Node instance, you will enter the email and password that you use to sign in to web.connectunited.com.
Once your credentials have been entered, click the "Submit" option.
Great! Your Node is now back online. Please note that it can take up to one hour for Nodes to show as online in Connect after creating a new instance or restarting an instance.
Destroying an Instance
If you no longer wish to host a Node with BlockFabric, or if restarting isn't successful in putting your node back online, you may have to destroy the affected instance and create a new one.
To destroy an instance, click the same three dots to the right of the affected node and select the "Destroy Node" option.
You will see a warning message. Click "Destroy Node" to continue.
You will see a destroy confirmation and a notice of refund, if one is due.
Next, you can scroll to the top of your BlockFabric account and click the "Add Instances" to add a Node back to your Block Fabric account.
