What is a Crypto Wallet?

A crypto wallet is a secure tool—usually an app or browser extension—that allows you to store, send, and receive your digital assets, including cryptocurrencies and NFTs. Instead of holding your assets directly, the wallet stores your private keys, which give you access to them on the blockchain.

When compared to non-crypto terminology, a "wallet" is the equivalent of an "account".
