There may be instances where you want to import your wallet into MetaMask. This allows your wallet and its assets to be viewable in the Metamask UI.
Please note that even after Importing a Wallet you may still need to Import Custom Tokens to MetaMask.
To do this using your Connect Wallet Recovery Phrase, follow the instructions outlined below.
Import to MetaMask
• Go to https://metamask.io/download
• Download for your preferred operating system.
• While you are setting up a new install of MetaMask, click on Import an existing wallet
• Follow the prompts to enter your 12-word Recovery Phrase. Enter each word in a separate box, making sure you type each word lower case without any spaces.
Follow step by step instructions below:
Go to https://metamask.io/download
Click on Browser Extension
Download for your preferred browser and install.
Click on Add
Click on the puzzle piece at the top of your browser to see the MetaMask extension. When you click on the puzzle piece, you can choose to pin the extension to your browser for easy access.
Agree to the terms and click Import an existing wallet.
Enter the 12 word recovery phrase for your Connect wallet.
Create a password.
Your Connect wallet has been imported to MetaMask!
