A blockchain explorer is an online research tool that allows you to view real-time and historical data on a blockchain network. Some important terms to know when using a block explorer:
Key Things to Know
-
Block Explorers are Chain-Specific: For example Win Native Digital Rewards are on the Win Blockchain so their transactions will only appear on the Win Block Explorer. They will NOT be visible on Etherscan until after they have been bridged to ERC-20.
- Etherscan is the block explorer for the Ethereum Network.
- All blockchains have their own block explorers.
-
Transaction Hash (Txn Hash): Unique cryptographic identifier for each transaction.
-
Status: Current state of the transaction.
-
Pending: The network has received the funds and the transaction is being processed.
-
Confirmed: The transaction passed all confirmations and was successfully processed.
-
Complete: The transaction is fully accepted and irreversible.
-
Failed: The transaction encountered an error and balances remain unchanged.
-
-
Timestamp: The exact time the transaction was sent to the network.
-
Wallet Address: Alphanumeric string from which cryptocurrencies or NFTs are sent and received.
💡 This data helps you monitor the process of sending or receiving transactions.
How It Works
-
After sending funds, copy your transaction hash or wallet address.
-
Go to a correct blockchain explorer for the chain that you are using and paste it into the search bar. For example, if the transaction was on the Ethereum network you would use Etherscan.
-
View the transaction details.
-
After a few minutes, the transaction will either confirm or fail.
-
Confirmed transactions are immutable and cannot be reversed.
-
Failed transactions are typically caused by network congestion.

-
Think of a blockchain like a permanent receipt book—every transaction is recorded and can be viewed anytime with a block explorer.
Viewing Transaction Status or Wallet History
-
By Transaction Hash: Displays details of that specific transaction.
-
By Wallet Address: Shows all transactions linked to that wallet.
-
Important: Each explorer is tied to a specific blockchain (e.g., WIN, Ethereum). You’ll need to use the correct one.
WIN Block Explorer (https://win.elevatescan.com/)
-
View transactions from the WIN Blockchain for a particular Connect wallet address.
-
See all wallet interactions with smart contracts.
-
Check WIN reward distribution and NFT transactions.
Example Features:
-
Search Bar: Search by address or transaction hash.
-
Overview: Displays current wallet balance.
-
Transaction Table: Lists details such as:
-
Transaction Hash
-
Type of Transfer
-
From / To Wallet
-
Value
-
Time
-
-
Token Transfers: In/out token movements.
-
Internal Transfers: Reward distribution history.
WIN Block Explorer Example
- Search Bar: By address or transaction hash.
- Overview: Current wallet balance.
- Transaction Table: Displays each transaction associated with the displayed wallet.
-Transaction Hash
-Type of Transfer
-From (wallet that initiated transaction)
-To (smart contract called to perform transaction or wallet that received transaction)
-Value
-Time - Token Transfers Tab: Lists the token transfers in and out of the wallet.
- Internal Transfers Tab: Shows reward distribution history.
Ethereum Block Explorer (Etherscan)
- Etherscan is a third-party site and is not owned, controlled or managed by Connect.
-
View all Ethereum network transactions for a given address.
- This is where you would find ERC-20 token activity as those are tokens that have been bridged to the Ethereum network.
-
Monitor wallet activity, pending transactions, and Ethereum gas fees.
Example Features:
-
Search Bar: Search by address or transaction hash.
-
Overview: Displays current wallet balance and token values (toggle via dropdown).
-
Transaction Table: Lists details such as:
-
Transaction Hash
-
Type of Transfer
-
Date
-
From / To Wallet
-
Value
-
Fees
-
-
Token Transfers (ERC-20) Tab: Tracks all ERC-20 token activity.
-
NFT Transfers Tab: Lists NFT transactions for that wallet.
Etherscan Example
- Search Bar: By address or transaction hash.
- Overview: Current wallet balance and value by token. Toggle between tokens by using the dropdown menu.
- Transaction Table: Displays each transaction associated with the displayed wallet.
-Transaction Hash
-Type of Transfer
-Date
-From (wallet that initiated transaction)
-To (smart contract called to perform transaction or wallet that received transaction)
-Value
-Fees - Token Transfers (ERC-20) Tab: Lists all the ERC-20 tokens in and out of the wallet.
- NFT Transfers Tab: Lists all the NFTs in and out of the wallet.
