What is my Encryption Passcode?
The Encryption Passcode, also sometimes called Wallet Passcode or password, guards your Connect wallet. Think of it like a PIN for your bank account.
Your Encryption Passcode is the password you set when you created your wallet. To protect the security of your Connect wallet, it should be different than your Account Password. Write down your Encryption Passcode and store it somewhere secure. Never take a screenshot or store store your Encryption passcode on your phone or computer. Never share your Encryption Passcode.
The Encryption Passcode is required for any wallet transactions: whenever you make a purchase, send any currency or rewards out of your wallet, or to access any WIN you receive in the future. Again, it is important for your wallet security to make your Encryption Passcode different from your Account Password.
If you lose your Encryption Passcode the only way to reset it to enter your Recovery Phrase under Account Settings and Encryption Passcode.
