What is a Boost Node?

A Boost Node is a way to increase your rewards that you are earning from a SmartNode while supporting the foundational growth and development of our communities.

Supercharge your rewards with a Boost Node and support your favorite blockchain.   When linked to a single Brand SmartNode, you can 1x, 2x or 4x the Action Points of that SmartNode.

Choose Good (1x), Better (2x) or Best (4x) for each SmartNode you want to boost!

How many times can I boost a SmartNode?

You can pair up Boost Nodes with Brand SmartNodes based on how many Brand SmartNodes you own.

For example:

If you own 1 Brand SmartNode, you can only pair it with 1 Boost Node.

If you own 1 Brand SmartNode, you can not pair it with multiple Boost Nodes.

If you own 2 Brand SmartNodes, you can only pair it with a max of 2 Boost Nodes.

To boost a Brand SmartNode with 4 Boost Nodes, you need to have 4 Brand SmartNodes.

Do you need to own a SmartNode first?

Yes, you need to own a Brand SmartNode in order to have something to boost.

For example if you are buying a Boost Node for a Rally SmartNode, you need to already have a Rally SmartNode.

Does a Boost Node need to be hosted?

Yes.

Are they commissionable?

Yes.

Are Boost Nodes Brand Specific?

Yes, these are brand specific.   For example, if you have Rally SmartNodes that you want to boost, purchase Boost Nodes under the Rally section of the Connect Shopping Cart.

Fulfillment

Boost Nodes will be delivered to your dashboard upon purchase and will start earning rewards with the upcoming blockchain code update planned for this Fall.

Does this replace the previous FoundationsAI SmartNode?

Yes, this is the same product but a new name as the FoundationsAI SmartNode.

Based on feedback from the community, this is a change that simplifies the products to be easier for customers to understand and easier for the team to deliver and fulfill.
