Your Encryption Passcode (also referred to as Wallet Passcode) is created when you complete your wallet setup. Please note that in order to change or reset your Encryption Passcode you will need your 12 word recovery phrase.
In order to change your Encryption Passcode, please follow the below steps:
1. Sign into web.connectunited.com.
2. Select the user icon on the top-right corner, and select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.
5. Once in "Account Settings", select the "Wallet" tab, and the "Reset Encryption Passcode" button.
6. Next, You will be prompted to enter your twelve-word backup phrase in order to ensure the security of your account. After this, you can enter and save your new encryption passcode!
NOTE* From this same page you can edit your personal information, notification preferences, account password, and more by selecting the tabs on the left side of the screen.
NOTE* Due to the secure decentralized nature of the blockchain, Connect does NOT have access to your wallet contents, passcode, or phrase, and cannot recover them for you. It is recommended that you write this code down and keep it somewhere safe, along with your backup phrase.
