What is my Recovery Phrase?
Your Recovery Phrase, also sometimes referred to as your 12-word backup phrase, is the 12 words you are given during your Connect wallet creation.
The Recovery Phrase is your ONLY backup for your wallet. Connect does not have a copy and cannot recover a lost Recovery Phrase.
It is imperative that you write this phrase down and store it somewhere safe. Never screenshot your Recovery Phrase or save it to your computer or phone. Keep a hardcopy of your Recovery Phrase somewhere secure. Never share your Recovery Phrase with anyone.
If for any reason you lose or forget your Encryption passcode, you can use this phrase to recover it.
