There are a multitude of banks that often have different wire requirements and instructions, and not all banks are the same. Please also see this FAQ with detailed instructions on paying with a Wire. Here are some tips and tricks to make the international wire process easier.
1. Connect Wire Payments are handled by SwitchPay so if you do need to submit a ticket, do so to support@switchrewardcard.com for the fastest response.
2. Wires Receiving Times Vary
- Domestic (From US to US): 2-5 Business Days
- International (Non-US to US): 5-7 Business Days
US Holidays can extend these times, and these are the times required by the banks, NOT Connect or Switch Pay
3. Different banks may ask different questions on their Wire Sending Form.
Examples may include the recipient phone number or reason for the wire.
- If your bank requests a reason for sending the wire, it is suggested to say "Software Purchase" with the Memo Code as an Order or Invoice #. For example if your Memo Code is UDEJY, then in the Reason section you would put "Software Purchase Order #UDEJY".
- If a Recipient Phone Number is asked you can use 919-716-4588, please note this is to a Bank and is NOT the way to reach Customer Support or submit a ticket.
- If any other information is needed that is NOT on the wire instructions, please email support@switchrewardcard.com and we will get you the information needed as soon as possible.
4. The Reference or Memo Code is so important to include when you submit your wire payment with your bank. When you check out on Connect's Shopping Cart with a Wire as payment, you will be provided a code in the "Memo/Notes Field" section. This code is unique to you and your transaction and helps Connect and their vendor Switch Pay attach the correct payment to the correct account and purchase. If the memo was not entered in the wire payment, please email the memo/reference code to support@switchrewardcard.com with the details of your order.
After you submit a wire on the Connect Shopping Cart purchase form, you should receive an email with instructions from no-reply@switchpayservices.com with a subject of “NFT Wire Instructions”. Be sure to follow those instructions.
