Know Your Customer, or KYC, identity verification is now required in order to access Connect Pay.
Why is KYC required?
KYC verification protects the integrity of the Win Blockchain community, and ensures users are not gaming the system with bots, multiple accounts per user, etc.
As Connect grows and becomes global this additional layer of security is critical to the success of the Connect community.
Where does it state that there can only be one Connect account per person?
The one account per user policy is stated in the Connect Terms & Conditions, which must be acknowledged and signed upon creation of each account. You can read a copy of the Terms & Conditions in your Connect account by tapping on the user menu, and selecting Terms & Conditions.

How long does it take for KYC to be approved?
The verification process takes 2-3 business days for approval.
What do I do if my KYC application is flagged?
If you application is flagged, you will receive an email from Switch with additional details. If you don't see an email from Switch within 2-3 business days, make sure to check your spam, and please let us know here.
How do I complete my KYC verification?
Completing your KYC is quick and easy. Keep reading for best practices!
Log into your Connect account. Click on My Connect and select Connect Pay.
Click on Start KYC
Carefully fill in the required fields.
When providing personal information in the required boxes, make sure you are using your FULL LEGAL NAME, not a nickname, a shortened version, or a name you commonly go by.
Double check for typos - small things will cause a flag that will extend the time it takes for your KYC to be approved!
Make sure to use the address on your current legal identification.
That's it! Your KYC should be approved in 2-3 business days.
Please note there may be flagged cases where manual review is required. In these instances it may take longer than 2-3 business days for KYC approval.
Note that the KYC process is handled by our 3rd-party partner Switch, which is NOT part of Connect. If you have been waiting to be approved for more than 2-3 business days, please keep an eye out for an email from Switch, as they may need to request more information from you.
If you are still unable to access your Connect Pay after KYC has been approved check to make sure that you have completed and passed all required Compliance courses.
