Wallet Upgrade to Connect Wallet 2.0

The Connect wallet has been upgraded! Multiple wallet features, including increased wallet security, have been updated. The update to wallet 2.0 is quick and easy.

Do I have to upgrade my wallet?
All Connect users will be required to update to wallet 2.0.

What do I need to upgrade to the Connect 2.0 Wallet?
In order to upgrade, you'll need to be prepared with your original Connect wallet (wallet 1.0) Recovery Phrase (12-word backup phrase).

What if I don't have my Recovery Phrase?
If you don't have your Recovery Phrase you can create an entirely new wallet and transfer your funds to wallet 2.0.

How Do I Upgrade my Wallet?

1. To begin, login to your account at web.connectunited.com
2. Tap on My Wallet in your Dashboard. Click Upgrade to Wallet 2.0
   
   
   
   
3. You will then create a new wallet Encryption Passcode.  Remember! This should be different than your account login password! 
   
   
   
   
4. Type your new Encryption Passcode in both boxes to confirm, then click Confirm Encryption Passcode.
   
   
   
   
   
5. Enter your 12-word Recovery Phrase. It is the same Recovery Phrase you were given when you created wallet 1.0. Make sure to enter the words in the correct order, all lower case, and no spaces.
   
   
   
   
6. Once done, click Confirm Phrase.
   
   
   
   
7. You're all done! We have migrated your existing wallet over to the new Wallet 2.0 instantly.
   
   

If you don't have your Recovery Phrase or the site is saying it's not correct, click the button below the boxes "forgot wallet recovery phrase?" You will then create a new wallet and receive a new 12-word seed phrase.   

After creating a new wallet, you will send funds from your old wallet to your new wallet. We will guide you through this process.  If you are running a Win Node and receiving WIN rewards, they will automatically be sent to your new wallet after setup is complete.


Sending funds from Wallet 1.0 to 2.0 if you didn't have your Recovery Phrase:

Remember to send ETH last!
Navigate to your Connect wallet and identify the rewards you want to transfer from 1.0 to 2.0. In the example below, we'll send ETH. This process will be the same for any rewards you would like to transfer.



Next click on Wallet 2.0 and tap the corresponding wallet. In this case ETH. Copy the wallet address either under the token name at the top, or by toggling to Receive and copying the address displayed under "Your ETH Wallet Address". 

Now click Back at the top of the screen to return to the main wallet screen. Click on Wallet 1.0. If you are unable to see Wallet 1.0 in your "My Wallet" page, you may have to enable the "Show Wallet 1.0" slider in your account settings.

Click on the token you are transferring. Remember in this example we're using ETH. Toggle to Send and enter the amount you want to transfer. Paste the copied address into the the "To" field. 

Click Preview Send. Enter your Wallet 1.0 Encryption Passcode. 



Click send. 



Success!  Now go back to Wallet 2.0 and see your transfer.

Repeat this process for each reward you are holding in Wallet 1.0. Remember to send ETH last! When you're finished, you'll see the following message:

Congrats! All of your Wallet 1.0 balances have been transferred.
