3. Proposal summary
An accurate summary of the proposal.
This Proposal updates the requirements for the BlockBot qualification status by establishing
that the existing requirement of 5 directly referred Win SmartNode activations requires those
activations be among 5 unique referred friends.
This proposal also updates the BlockBot qualification to require maintaining at least $10,000
(USD value) in Win Blockchain Community proceeds from transactions occurring within their
Friendchain in the previous 12 months.
This proposal updates and clarifies the previous change of terminology for the Win Standard
Node license (previously known as a Win Lite Node) and confirms these nodes remain eligible
for action points and rewards.
This proposal includes other clarifying changes or minor changes for typographical errors and
consistent use of certain terminology.
4. Supporting rationale
A rationale section detailing the initiator’s reason(s) for creating the proposal.
The BlockBot Program rewards community members who promote the Win Blockchain by
referring others. The current BlockBot qualification may not sufficiently incentivize additional
referring and promoting of the Win Blockchain. The updated qualification requirements more
effectively incentivize referral activity to achieve and maintain BlockBot status.
The standard version of the Win Node software was renamed in a previous revision of the
Charter which created some confusion regarding the ongoing support and eligibility of
standard licenses.
5. Detailed description
An accurate, long-form description of what the proposal will do if enacted, including the collective
benefit for the Node Network DGF.
Refer to Win Node Network Charter 3.0 – April 20, 2024
