How to Buy USDT and ETH Right From Your Connect Account

In order to purchase Nodes in Connect, you'll need to own some digital assets. The Connect shopping cart currently accepts UDST and USDC for payments and, because Connect transactions are processed on the Ethereum network, you'll need some ETH for gas fees.

Simply log into your Connect account at web.connectunited.com, click My Connect and select My Wallet from the dropdown.

Locate the Buy Crypto button in your wallet.

You'll be redirected to SwitchPay for Connect.  Here you can buy USDT and ETH using your credit or debit card, and send it directly to your Connect wallet. Keep in mind you'll need to verify your identity the first time you use SwitchPay for Connect, so have your ID ready and give yourself just a few extra minutes. Identity can often be verified in less than 10 minutes.

Select your country, enter the amount of USDT or ETH you'd like to purchase, and select the correct USDT or ETH option from the dropdown. Click Buy Now.

Enter your email.

You will be prompted to enter an email verification code. Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't see the verification email. It will be from Transak and look similar to the image below:

When you receive the email, enter the code in the Verification Code box and click Continue.

Now you will begin the KYC process. Start by entering your personal details.



Next enter your address.

Verify the purpose of your purchase.

Enter your social security number.

Now you'll begin the ID Verification Process.

At this point, if you are on a desktop or laptop, you'll be prompted to continue the ID verification process on your phone. SwitchPay offers a seamless and secure transition from computer to mobile device. 

Open the camera on your phone and scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen. You'll be redirected to a secure link on your phone.

Click Continue on your phone to complete the ID verification.

You will be asked to select the ID form you wish to upload, and be directed to take pictures of both the front and back of your selected ID.  When you are satisfied with the images, click to upload. 

Next you will be asked to take a selfie, which will be compared with the ID document you uploaded. 

You will be notified on your phone when your ID and selfie uploads are successful. Your computer will now automatically update and you may finish your transaction there.

Your KYC verification is complete!

Enter your debit or credit card information. Keep in mind that debit cards have a higher success rate.

Fill in your card billing address information.

Acknowledge that orders can't be canceled or reversed once submitted.
