How to buy digital assets

In order to purchase Nodes in Connect, you'll need to own some digital assets. The Connect shopping cart currently accepts ETH, USDT and USDC for payments and, because Connect transactions are processed on the Ethereum network, you'll need some ETH for gas fees even if purchasing with USDT or USDC.

Can I buy digital assets with my Connect account?
No. You can send, receive, Swap and hold digital assets in your Connect wallet, but you cannot purchase them inside Connect.

Where can I buy digital assets?
We're excited to partner with Switch to offer easy solutions for buying digital assets. Use one of the options below to buy USDT or USDC and ETH.  Please note, each method will require ID verification upon first use.  This is known as, Know Your Customer (KYC). Be prepared with your ID and mobile device to easily provide the required information.

You can also use any third-party exchange of your choice, such as Coinbase or Binance. Learn about purchasing Nodes using an external wallet, such as in Coinbase, here.

Switch Trade Wallet 
Use the Switch Trade wallet to link directly to your bank account and to send wire transfers for large amounts. This is separate from your Switch Rewards Wallet (Non-Custodial). Log into your Switch account and click Trade Wallet on the left side bar to access your Trade Wallet.

You can send USDT and ETH to your Connect wallet from your Switch Trade Wallet to purchase a node. Also, you can select an external wallet payment option during the Connect checkout process. 

Please Note:
International users will have to deposit US dollars to fund the Switch Trade Wallet. This can be done by linking a bank account in your name and fund with a wire, ACH, or RTP transfers. 

The Switch Trade Wallet is not available in certain States: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Minnesota, and New York.
