When creating a Connect Account, you will be prompted to create a Connect wallet as well. During this process, you will set a secure encryption passcode (wallet passcode), and will receive a recovery phrase (12-word backup phrase). Due to the decentralized nature of the blockchain, Connect does not have access to your Encryption Passcode or Recovery Phrase, and we cannot recover them for you.
You have the ability to reset your encryption passcode using your recovery phrase following the instructions here.
Recovery Phrases cannot be reset.
If you lose your Recovery Phrase, Connect can archive your current wallet and allow you to create a new one. In order to archive your current wallet, please contact support and request a wallet archival.
Note: This new wallet will be an entirely fresh start, and no currency, coin, or reward from the old wallet will be transferred over.
